NY BENSON — Benson Town Board amended the 2027 tentative budget at an October 6 workshop. Supervisor Phil Snyder and Councilpersons Ron Blowers, Tim Abrams, and Chelsea Hartmann reviewed the budget line by line, approving a 4 percent salary increase for all staff and making several line-item adjustments including removing $500.00 from police personal services and modifying Town Historian codes. The Board will present the amended budget at a public hearing and regular meeting on October 20, 2026.
