Benson board approves fund transfer and assessor appointment

NY BENSON — Benson Town Board approves fund transfer and assessor appointment. Supervisor Phil Snyder reported the general fund balance at approximately $125,000 and the highway fund between $150,000 and $160,000. The board unanimously approved Resolution 43-26 for a 2025 year-end fund transfer and Resolution 44-26 to appoint an assessor.
The board also unanimously approved an expense report totaling $44,451.84 and discussed ongoing facility improvements and road maintenance efforts.
