Town Board approves $1,700 electrical panel replacement

NY BENSON — Benson Town Board unanimously approves $1,700 electrical panel replacement at town building. Supervisor Phil Snyder moved the approval, and the board also unanimously passed resolutions authorizing the annual audit of the supervisor's books and requesting county highway weight restrictions on town roads. Highway Superintendent Mike Palmer reported ongoing cleanup from flood and ice damage and said the board will authorize a $3,500 air compressor purchase next month.
During public input, resident Frank Fernandez criticized a 13.5 percent budget increase and requested monthly account balances.
